Sex education is much more than teaching about sex,
sexuality and sexual health. It is about humanity, respect for
one another, our physical and mental health; and
appreciating the importance of loving and caring for one another.
Contrary to the fears of parents and other adults, research has
shown that good sex education does not incite young ones to
become sexually active. The Montessori Method of education,
through its activities and principles, makes sex education a natural
part of the children’s learning.
