The Montessori Method of education is trailed by many misconceptions. Some people think that Montessori encourages children to only play, since
they do what they choose to do. Such people feel that children cannot distinguish between work and play. They are of the opinion that Montessori children enjoy so much
freedom and this causes them to move aimlessly and talk unrestrainedly in the classroom.. Some even believe that Montessori education is mainly for
children with special needs.
