The puzzle map is one of the many activities of Montessori education cultural curriculum. There are different types 
of puzzle maps: the puzzle world map showing continents, the puzzle map of continents showing countries, and the puzzle map of countries showing states. Each puzzle map comes with a control map, which gives the child the challenge of building the puzzle pieces outside the puzzle board before returning them.
As children put the puzzle pieces together, they would see, hold and trace sections of the world in order to identify each continent, country or state represented in the puzzles. They would also learn how these places are connected to one another.
