How it all started
It was the late 90’s and I was a disillusioned teen; idealistic about the way the world could be and saddened by the way it was. I didn’t much enjoy school, often wondering what the point was. I couldn’t see the
connections with what I perceived to be ‘real life’. Leaving before the end of my final year, I decided to
embark on a journey to learn more about the world. Much to the horror of my mother and father – I set off to work as an au-pair in Paris; my adventures had begun. Over the next six years, they took me to various corners of the earth including the USA, Europe.
